The Livingood Foundation is offering $500 scholarships -- totally on YouTube!

This fall Brennan breaks out on his own by offering the Go Brennan Scholarships 2010 through his own foundation,

The 4 minute YouTube video promotes careers in manufacturing and industry to other young men and women who, like Brennan, are not interested in the typical education and career choices they have been given. Brennan says, "Do you like working with your hands? Then maybe you should consider getting a vocational education in skills used in industry for a job doing things that you actually enjoy doing!" That's pretty good advise since skilled and certified workers are still in high demand.

Students can apply for the scholarships by submitting their own video response to Brennan's YouTube page. Applicants are encouraged to tell a little about themselves and "make it interesting". Also, the earlier they get their response in the better chance they have of being selected. For the first 6 responses, Brennan will award a copy of the Student Cad Software by SolidWorks with a certificate to get SolidWorks Certified for free. All responses must be in by December 1st, 2009 for consideration. Winners will be notified through their YouTube accounts by December 15th, 2009.
